About Jen

Hey there! I'm Florida Jen. My nickname came about after deciding that being middle aged meant I didn't need to care about the majority of what other people thought of me, what I said or how I said it. I likened my attitude to that of Stanley from The Office when he pitches himself to go to Florida for a special trip.

I live in Jacksonville, FL, where I've spent most of my life, and I love to throw worries to the wind and sit outside on my Florida patio sipping a minty iced lemonade, watching the palm trees sway.

I'm an artist specializing in watercolor, mixed media, and abstracts, with florals and botanicals a close second. I'm also a Jen of all trades: woodturning, woodworking, resin, clay, embroidery, Cricut, foiling, crochet, and whatever I pick up next. I've done every craft on this site myself.

I'm sarcastic, love stupid humor, and love to play like a child, because that's the only way it's fun.
